What You’ll Need to Know Before You Start
This guide will require a little bit of effort and some time on your part. You’ll need to be patient, and you’ll need to put in the work.
The first thing that you should know before you start is that there are two types of girl, and they want two different things from you. There are girls who like games, and there are girls who just want to get as much attention as possible.
The former group wants to see if they can win your affection through a game or two; these are the girls who play hard-to-get on Facebook. These are the type of girls that want a challenge–they want to toy with your emotions and test their skills. They will not like you unless you ask them out on a date or something similar.
The latter group just wants everyone’s attention on Facebook–the girls who have no problem liking every single boy in their friend list because it’s “funny.” You’ll have to deal with this type of girl later, for now let’s continue with step one: getting her attention.
Make a Good First Impression
Making a good first impression is one of the best ways to get a girl to like you on Facebook. And you don’t need to be a master of Photoshop or a genius with language arts to make this happen.
You just need to be polite- and that may seem difficult if your personality type can’t handle social situations well. The truth is, we all have different personalities and no two people are alike. But by putting in the effort for one simple act, you could make it come true.
First impressions count, so make yours count for good!
Show her you exist
If you want to get a girl to like you on Facebook, the first thing you have to do is let her know that you exist. This might seem pretty obvious, but it’s so easy to forget when there are so many other posts and pages competing for her attention. Fortunately, there are lots of ways to do this, and it doesn’t take much time or effort.
You can simply send her a message about something she posted and tell her how much you enjoyed it. Or you could ask her opinion on something that happened in your life recently, then share your opinion with her after she replies.
You could also post some photos of yourself at school or work and say what you’re up to that day – this way she knows you’re actively using Facebook! The easiest way to show your existence without seeming too pushy is by liking some of the pictures she’s shared on her timeline or uploading a photo of yourself with one of her friends in the background.
She might not respond right away (especially if she has a boyfriend), but by taking these small steps, she’ll be more likely to come back and interact with your profile when she feels ready.
Connect with her friends
If you want to get a girl to like you on Facebook, the best way to do it is by adding her friends. You may be thinking, “That’s not going to help me at all! I don’t know any of her friends. I don’t know how they think either, so I can’t develop conversations with them.” But don’t worry, we’ve got that covered. All you need to do is use one of these three methods:
1) Find mutual friends
2) Use Facebook’s friend finder
3) Search for their names on Google
In other words, the easiest way to get a girl to like you on Facebook is by finding mutual friends or using Facebook’s friend finder or just searching for their name with Google. And if you want to take it even further, then make sure your own profile is set up correctly too. That will increase the chances that she’ll notice and like your page in the first place.
Make sure your profile picture looks good (no more selfies!), and add some relevant interests. So if you work as a programmer and eat sushi every night then make sure those are things that are shown on your profile! These are just basic steps but they’re important ones when trying to get a girl to like you on Facebook.
Keep showing her why you’re awesome
The key to getting a girl to like you on Facebook is not just in the process, but also in the presentation. You need to show her that you’re worth liking. Don’t make it too easy for her to know that you want her approval. Make her work for it; make her come to terms with how awesome you are.
But how do you do this? There are many different ways to show off your awesomeness without coming across as needy. You could post an interesting article or picture on your profile, share a video of your recent adventures, or even write a blog post about your latest experiences with one of those other girls who don’t like you on Facebook and post it on Facebook so they can read it and feel bad about themselves.
But whatever you do, never send the girl a request out of the blue—you will undoubtedly get rejected and she will then think she is better than you.
Don’t overdo it
The first thing you need to know is that, when it comes to Facebook, less is more. Sometimes, the people you’re trying to connect with don’t want the attention, and they may feel overwhelmed if you show up in their feed too often. In order to get a girl to like you on Facebook, be careful not to overdo it.
If she doesn’t have something new from you for a while, that might remind her why she liked you in the first place. So be mindful of this strategy when posting on your own page, as well as when reaching out to her.
Get personal and show her who you are
The first thing you need to do is get personal. Once you’ve found a girl you like, start by looking her up on Facebook. Once you find her page, head over to the “About” section. This is where you can put your best foot forward and show her who you are. This is also the place where she can learn more about what makes you tick, so make sure you fill it out as much as possible.
Remember: Don’t be afraid to share with your crush who you are and what your interests are! It will only help.
Show Her You’re Worth It
The first and most important step to get a girl to like you on Facebook is to make her believe that you’re worth liking. One way to do this is by connecting with her on other social media profiles.
For example, if she has a Twitter, Instagram, or Snapchat profile, follow her on those networks and send her a quick message telling her how nice it is to connect with somebody else who likes the same things as she does.
Or if she has an Etsy or Soundcloud account, follow her there too—show that you’ve made an effort to get to know who she is as a person outside of Facebook.
Don’t be Pushy or Overbearing
The key to getting a girl to like you on Facebook is simple: don’t be pushy or overbearing. You want her to like you and friend you because she wants to, not because she has no other choice.
Don’t bombard her with messages begging for a response, and don’t make it your mission to get her number or meet up with her every day. Give her space and time so that she can get accustomed to the idea of being friends with you first.
If you take the time to cultivate a genuine friendship before asking for more, then she will be more likely to say yes when you ask if she would like to chat on Messenger or go on a date. Remember: slow and steady wins the race!
Conclusion
In order to get a girl to like you on Facebook, you have to be strategic. You have to be able to connect with her and make her feel special. But you also need to know and understand her and her interests. You have to build up a rapport and make her feel comfortable with you and your intentions. Once you’ve got that, it’s time to ask for the like and show her you’re the one for her.
