Samsung Galaxy F62 Specs and Price

Just five months after the Samsung Galaxy F41 made its debut as the first device in the “F” series, Samsung has returned with the Samsung Galaxy F62, the second device in the series and a more expensive alternative to the first. The 7000 mAh battery on this smartphone is its standout feature, which somewhat calls into question the originality of Samsung’s M series.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy F62’s aesthetic components can be found on other smartphones that have already been released. After putting everything together, we have a pretty recognizable device. These memories can be seen on the front and back panels.

We have a dual-tone finish with stripes on the back. You can tell it’s a Samsung smartphone by the OEM branding, the square camera module, the LED flash, and the dual-tone finish. If you look closely, the Samsung Galaxy M12 comes to mind because their rear panels have certain resemblance.

The three color options available to enthusiasts who want to buy the Samsung Galaxy F62 are Laser Green, Laser Gray, and Laser Blue.

A punch hole is located at the top center of the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which is located in the front. This display has a 1080 x 2400 resolution, a 393 PPI density, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The Cameras

Fans who have chosen to upgrade or forego the F41 in favor of the Galaxy F62 will have to make do with a better back camera configuration. This update includes the addition of a dedicated macro camera as well as an ultrawide camera with greater resolution.

A 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123 field of view make up the back camera configuration. The remaining components of the back arrangement are a 5MP depth camera and a 5MP macro camera, both of which have f/2.4 apertures. 4K videos up to 30 frames per second can be captured using this configuration.

The front of the device has the same single 32MP camera as the Galaxy F41, which was previously available. The aperture on this camera is f/2.0. Additionally, it can record videos at a frame rate of up to 4K. For information on the additional recording modes, please refer to the specification page.

Hardware and Software

The Samsung Galaxy F62’s Octa-core Exynos 9825 processor, Mali-G76 MP12 GPU, 6GB or 8GB RAM choices, 128GB built-in storage, and non-removable 7000mAh battery provide it mid-range performance.

The distinctiveness of the Samsung M series members is somewhat called into doubt by the presence of a 7000mAh battery on board. The Galaxy M12, which is the most expensive model in the M series and also has the largest battery in the lineup at 6000mAh, loses the title of battery king to the F62.

On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy F62 runs Android 11 on top of the One UI 3.1 user interface.

Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy F62 has a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and NFC. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Since the internet speed on this platform is limited to 4G, enthusiasts will not have access to 5G speeds.

Samsung Galaxy F62 Price and Availability
