Samsung A02 Specs

Samsung Mobile has introduced the Samsung Galaxy A02, an entry-level smartphone. The inexpensive phone has a decent design but no fingerprint scanner. Aside from that, it sports a pair of back cameras, a huge display screen, and a standard amount of internal capacity.

Display and Design

In terms of body design, the Samsung Galaxy A02 has a decent polycarbonate body with the exception of the front display glass. On the other hand, the backside has a gripping pattern that houses the camera’s setup.

It has dimensions of 164 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 206 grams as a result of the battery.

It has a 6.5-inch PLS TFT LCD panel on the front with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+) and a dew-drop notch that houses the front camera. It’s dubbed the ‘Infinity-V Display’ by Samsung.

Cameras

The Samsung A02 includes a dual-camera configuration with a 13MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) sensor and an LED flash. On the front, it has a single front camera with a resolution of 5MP for selfies and video calls. The main camera is capable of taking high-quality photographs and recording video in 1080p resolution.

Hardware and Software

The Samsung Galaxy A02 is powered by a Mediatek MT6739W chipset, which features a quad-core CPU with four 1.5GHz ARM Cortex A53 cores and a 570MHz PowerVR RoRogue GE8100 GPU.

It has a 32GB internal memory with 2GB RAM, a 32GB internal memory with 3GB RAM, and a 64GB internal memory with 3GB RAM. A dedicated micro SDcard with a storage capacity of up to 1TB can be used to extend the memory.

Battery and Network

The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh non-removable battery that charges quickly. Dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS are among the connectivity possibilities (GPS, GLONASS).

A MicroUSB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a grip sensor, an accelerometer, and a proximity sensor are among the ports and sensors offered.

In Nigeria, the Samsung Galaxy A02 costs roughly 42,000 Naira. In Ghana, the smartphone costs roughly 499 Ghs, whereas in Egypt, it costs 1730 EGP and in Kenya, it costs 12,999 Ksh. The smartphone is also available for $138 on Amazon US and a few other foreign internet sites.
