The Itel S16 is the follow-up to the Itel S15. It deviates from the norm in terms of performance. It has the same amount of RAM and processor as the S15. Itel, on the other hand, is promoting the S16 as a replacement by providing a better camera configuration, a larger battery, and updated software.

Design and Display
The Itel S16 does not have a significant hardware boost over its predecessor, but it does have a more refined look. I’ve made cosmetic changes to the S16 to make it more appealing.
A camera module with triple cameras and an LED flash can be found on the back. A capacitive fingerprint sensor and the Itel Mascott, which indicates that this is an Itel smartphone, are also found on the back.
On the front, there’s a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a drop notch that houses the phone’s selfie camera. The resolution of this monitor is 1600 x 720 pixels.
Enthusiasts have three color variations to choose from. Ice crystal blue, Cosmic shine, and Dazzle black are among the color selections.
The Cameras
Itel put in some effort to make the Itel S16 more durable. We have additional cameras on the back and a higher-resolution camera up front than its predecessor.
An 8MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a depth camera make up the rear camera configuration. We now have a 16MP front camera, as compared to the 5MP sensor on the S15, for selfies.
Although this camera arrangement isn’t the most capable of the lot, it’s a significant increase that will appeal to enthusiasts looking for smartphones in this price bracket.
Hardware and Software
When comparing the Itel S16 to the previously released Itel S15, there isn’t much of a difference. In a word, hobbyists will face the same performance hardware as professionals.
A quad-core Spreadtrum Unisoc SC7731E processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (with Micro-SD storage extension up to 32GB) and a 4000mAh battery (up from 3000mAh on the S15) are included.
The Itel S16’s software interface is built on top of the Android 10 (Go Edition) operating system.
Connectivity
A 3.5mm headphone jack, a Micro-USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity are all included in the Itel S16.
The Itel S16’s internet connectivity is limited to 3G, thus users won’t be able to enjoy the benefits of 4G and 5G speeds.
