LG and Samsung have teamed up to manufacture curved smartphones. The LG G Flex is the company’s attempt on revolutionary smartphone designs with curved displays and bodies. It has a 6.0-inch Curved OLED Display and a 13-megapixel camera on the backside with an elastic self-healing layer that heals from scratches.

Curved Screen Smartphone

The LG G Flex, like the Samsung Galaxy Round, has a curved screen and body. LG, on the other hand, chose a different approach. The G Flex is curved horizontally, whereas the Galaxy Round is curved vertically. Because the LG G Flex’s screen is made of flexible (bendable) OLED, it’s feasible to bend it.

The OLED display has a 6-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. LG has included a 3500mAh Li-Po battery using LG’s unique battery technology, which fits nicely into the phablet’s curved design.

The LG G Flex has the same 2.26GHz quad-core chipset and 2GB RAM as the LG G2. It is powered by Android 4.2.2. (Jelly Bean). It also has a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front. The LG G Flex has superfast 4G LTE with HSPA+ as well as GPRS/EDGE as a backup.

Pricing and availability

The LG G Flex is currently available in a few countries, including Nigeria. The LG G Flex costs between N114,000 and N120,000 in Nigeria, depending on where you live.
