Zmobile Mobile Banking from Zenith Bank

Zenith Bank’s Zmobile is a mobile banking service. Zmobile (Zenith mobile) allows Zenith bank users to conduct a variety of banking and payment transactions using their mobile phone. Balance enquiry, mini statement, bill payment, local money transfer, mobile phone top up, inter-bank money transfer, and other transactions are now provided by Zmobile. Zenith Bank also provides Internet banking services, allowing you to handle most of your banking needs from the comfort of your own home.

Zmobile is a mobile banking service with a menu system. The menu resembles that of an ATM or the Glo Magic Plus menu. All you have to do is choose the transaction you want from your phone’s menu and enter your security access information; the Zmobile system will take care of the rest.

How to access Zmobile

You must download a Zmobile application unique to your phone in order to use Zmobile. This can be loaded to your mobile phone through Bluetooth or Infrared at any Zenith bank branch, or over GPRS/EDGE/3G if your phone does not have Bluetooth or Infrared. This means that in order to use Zmobile, your phone must support Bluetooth, Infrared, or GPRS. Another characteristic that Zmobile requires is that your phone be Java capable. Of course, you must be a Zenith bank customer in order to use Zmobile.

Because Zmobile is a card-based service, you’ll also need a Zenith bank EazyCard. The system will ask for your 18-digit PAN number, expiration date, and four-digit PIN each time you choose a transaction on your Zmobile enabled mobile phone.

How secure is Zmobile

Your data transmission on a Zmobile-enabled phone is encrypted, ensuring the security of your transactions. Additionally, each transaction will require your 18-digit PAN, expiration date, and 4-digit PIN. All of this helps to make Zmobile a safe mobile banking platform.

Zenith uses SMS or GPRS for mobile banking transfer. To use Zmobile, you’ll need a phone that supports GPRS, Bluetooth, or Infrared. You will also require a Java-enabled mobile phone. A Zmobile application for your phone must also be available.
