Many smartphone manufacturers are already creating phones with screens that cover the whole front surface and have almost no boundaries. This year’s most expensive smartphones, such as the LG G6, Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8, all have bigger screens. Different manufactures employ different buzzwords for their panels, such as LG’s FullVision and Samsung’s Infinity Display, but they all promise more screen and less body. Thankfully, these screens are currently available on phones with lower pricing, such as the LG Q6 and the Micromax Canvas Infinity, which was just announced.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Summary

Micromax has introduced an 18:9 display to the affordable market, however it is not well implemented. The camera on the Canvas Infinity is decent enough for daylight photography, and the battery should last you all day. On the other hand, at the same price point, performance isn’t even close to the competition. If you are unable to expand your budget, we recommend selecting one of the several options available at this price, which do not have the bigger screen but are far better bundles altogether.
