Clean panel and body together measure 151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm and weigh 164 grams. An IP68 designation means it can withstand dust and water at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
This enables smartphone owners to take their devices to the water. However, you must exercise caution because the guarantee does not cover damage caused by liquids. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes with Samsung Pay.
Display
The fingerprint scanner is not on the rear, so you’ve probably been wondering where to find it. Sure, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. As a result, the screen is now the optimal location for the security controls.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a similarly massive screen. Dynamic AMOLED 2X capacitive touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate; 6.2 inches. The device’s responsiveness to touches will be improved by this feature.
With a resolution of 1440×3200 and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and 563 PPI density, it is quite impressive. The smartphone also features HDR10+ support and an always-on display.
Camera
The camera is a major selling factor of android phones. Samsung patiently waited to release a product that would be worthy of everyone’s attention. There are three lenses in the rear camera and one in the front camera.
Primary sensor is 12 megapixels with huge 1.8 m pixels. As an added bonus, it boasts optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture (OIS). The 64-megapixel telephoto lens tops them all. The manufacturer boasts a 30x “Super-Resolution Zoom” lens and a 3x hybrid zoom.
There is optical image stabilization (OIS) and a large f/2.0 aperture built into this module. The 8K resolution is a product of the camera’s 64 megapixel sensor. The final option is a 12 megapixel ultrawide sensor that can record Super Steady videos over a 120 degree field of view.
The front-facing camera is 10 megapixels, perfect for those who adore taking selfies. Dual video call, Auto-HDR, and 4K video recording are all available from the front-facing camera.
Hardware and Software
In the same way that it has become something of a custom in the S family. Depending on where you live, you can get a Galaxy S20 with a different chip and processor.
In Africa, we’ll be able to get the smartphone in a variant called Exynos 990 (Global) that features a 2.73 GHz Mongoose M5 octa-core processor.
Its 2.84 GHz octa-core Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 chipset will be available to customers in the United States. Don’t get fooled by its rapidity; both the International and the American variants offer superb performance.
Each model comes included with plenty of memory, 8GB, and storage, 128GB. If you are prepared to forego the second SIM slot, you can still add more storage space. The newest version of Android (10) will power the phone, with the One UI 2 skin on top.
