Umidigi A9 Pro Specs and Price
The Umidigi A9 Pro, a budget smartphone in the A-series, was just unveiled by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The phone is the upgraded version of the Umidigi A7 Pro gadget, as implied by its name. It features a non-contact infrared temperature sensor, which the Umidigi A9 and Umidigi A7s also have.
So, both the specs and the cameras should see some upgrades. Both the phone’s rear and front camera systems employ Sony sensors.

Design and Display
An entry-level smartphone, the Umidigi A9 Pro has a decent body covered in plastic and glass. A fingerprint reader and a quadruple camera setup are on the back panel.
The power and volume keys are located on the right, and the SIM card slot and a special shortcut key for temperature measurement/PTT are located on the left.
The smartphone has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 2.5D glass, and a waterdrop notch. The screen-to-body ratio is 83.6%, and the glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Cameras
The Umidigi A9 Pro’s camera sports a rectangular design with four sensors. The primary camera has a Sony 48MP f/1.79 sensor. However, the 6/128GB version has this.
The model with 4/64GB includes a 32MP Sony sensor. Two 5MP depth and macro sensors, a 16MP ultra-wide with a 120° field of view, and other features are the same between the two models. Both versions have a 32 MP front camera.

Hardware and Software
The Mediatek Helio P60 SoC of the Umidigi A9 Pro houses an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. The Mali-G72 MP3 GPU is built into the 12nm process-based chipset.
The gadget runs on Android 10 OS. Two storage options are offered for the android phone. The higher variant features 128GB and 6GB RAM, while the ordinary model has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal capacity. The good news is that both of them include expansion slots for micro SD cards.
Battery and Network
A 4,150mAh battery is there, and 10W USB-C charging is available. The battery was expected to provide a full day of conversation time. It has a 4G LTE network and a dual SIM.
The phone also has an infrared sensor that measures body temperature without having to touch the subject. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and GLONASS are also present.

The Umidigi A9 Pro is available in Onyx Black and Forest Green, with a starting price of about $125.99. In Nigeria, the A9 Pro costs about 62,700 Naira; in Ghana, 1050 GHC; and in Kenya, 13,000 KES.
