Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a design that resembles the Samsung Galaxy A51 in several ways. You have a design that appears to have been inspired more by cost considerations than the A51.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A71 both had a similar layout on their rear panels. A square box houses a quad camera system.
The Samsung logo is branded below that camera module, indicating that it is a Samsung smartphone.
In the front, there is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display set up with a selfie camera hidden in a u-shaped notch. The screen resolution and pixel density of this display are 1080 x 2400 and 411, respectively.
The Cameras
In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A31 continues a pattern that is present on the majority of mid-range smartphones. It has camera functions that are similar to those found on other mid-range Android phones.
It has a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth camera as part of a quad camera system on the back.
There is a 20MP selfie camera up front. This camera can record 1080p films at 30 frames per second and take HDR photographs.
Hardware and Software
The Samsung Galaxy A31 is a smartphone with capable mid-range specs because it is intended for the mid-range smartphone market.
Samsung had not revealed the chipset that would power the A31 as of the time this article was written. Rumors suggest that it might have the same MediaTek Helio P65 chipset as the Samsung Galaxy A41, though.
Additionally, you can select from 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The 5000mAh battery inside of this smartphone is significantly larger than the one inside of the Samsung Galaxy A41.
On the software front, you have Android 10.0 running the Samsung One UI.
Connectivity
A 3.5mm headphone socket, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and many other features can be found on the Samsung Galaxy A31.
There is no 5G support, a 4G LTE cap on internet connectivity, and a cap on download and streaming speeds.
Samsung Galaxy A31 Price and Availability
The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy A31 in Nigeria is about 95,000 Naira. The price of the smartphone is approximately 1100 Ghana cedis, 3,170 Egyptian pounds, and 22,700 Kenyan shillings. The Galaxy A31 is available for as little as $223 at reputable internet retailers in your area.
On March 18th, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A31, which is scheduled to go on sale in June 2020.
