iPhone 11 Pro Max Specs, Price
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the largest of Apple’s 2019 phones, with the iPhone 11 Pro Max taking the top spot. This is the unit that went all out in terms of specifications, taking on the actual flagships from other manufacturers.
We dig behind the hood to see if this is worthy of replacing the excellent iPhone XS Max we saw last year, which is currently in competition for the top slot with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

Design and Display
Apple is no slouch when it comes to displays, so we know the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED capacitive touchscreen isn’t going to be used.
Although we would have preferred Apple to try out a new type of notch on this top-of-the-line model, we do appreciate the nearly 84 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Scratch-resistant glass panels on the front and rear are protected by an oleophobic coating. Like the iPhone 11 Pro, they’re held together by a stainless steel frame. This is one of the cleanest and brightest — at 800 nits – screens on the market right now, with HDR10 picture to match.
Not to mention the 120Hz touch-sensing with wide color gamut, which will enable some incredible animations and transitions.
Taking a break from the main screen, the notch is nearly identical to the ones found on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. It also includes a loudspeaker, twin camera sensors, and other useful sensors.
Camera
If you’ve seen the iPhone 11 Pro previously, you’ll notice that the camera setup on the iPhone 11 Pro Max is very similar to that of the iPhone 11 Pro.
On the front, all three iPhone 11 models include a single 12 megapixel camera with a ToF 3D camera to complete the dual camera arrangement.
The back cameras on the two iPhone 11 Pro models are identical, with three 12 megapixel cameras on each. A wide-angle lens with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and optical image stabilisation is available on the main camera (OIS).
The second camera has a telephoto lens with PDAF, OIS, and 2x optical zoom, while the third camera has an ultrawide angle lens with PDAF, OIS, and 2x optical zoom.
The rear cameras include a quad-LED flash with dual-tone to improve low-light performance, and we’ll soon find how well they are at this.
Hardware, Software and Other Features
Apple isn’t big on hardware because they produce their own chips. The A13 Bionic chip, created with a 7nm+ process, is found on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, according to the development timeline.
This CPU is likely to compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 855+ chipsets, thus you should expect maximum power and performance efficiency from it.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max has the same storage options as the iPhone 11 Pro, with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB options available. The iPhone Pro Max will have 4GB of RAM, much like the other Apple phones released this year.
This will not be a problem because Apple devices are known for having better RAM management than most other devices.
The same 3969 mAh battery has been placed on this gadget, which is a little disappointing. Remember that this phone has a larger screen than the iPhone 11 Pro, which means it will use more energy.
If the dark mode on iOS 13, the chipset, and Apple’s ability to optimize its products are taken into account, the iPhone 11 Pro Max should have a long battery life.
Speaking of the battery, there is Qi wireless charging technology to take advantage of, as well as 18W fast charging. To put that in context, the phone will reach 50% in just 30 minutes of charging.
