Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a design that looks like it was inspired by the Samsung Galaxy A51. You’ve got a design that appears to be based on the A51 but with a more budget-friendly approach.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 and the Samsung Galaxy A71 both have a similar arrangement on their back panels. It’s a square box that houses a quad-camera system.
The Samsung nameplate is located beneath the camera module, indicating that this is a Samsung smartphone.
We have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display up front with a u-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. This display features a 1080 x 2400 resolution and a screen density of 411 pixels per inch.
The Cameras
When it comes to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A31 follows a pattern that we’ve seen on most mid-range phones. It has camera features that are similar to those found on other Android phones in the mid-range price bracket.
A 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth camera make up the quad-camera system on the back.
Upfront is a 20MP camera for selfies. This camera is capable of taking photos in HDR, as well as shooting videos 1080p videos at 30fps.
Hardware and Software
The Samsung Galaxy A31 is a smartphone designed for the mid-range smartphone market, and it comes with capable mid-range specs.
Samsung has not revealed the chipset that would power the A31 at the time this article was written. However, there is speculation that it will use the same MediaTek Helio P65 chipset as the Samsung Galaxy A41.

On March 18th, Samsung revealed the Galaxy A31, which would be available in June 2020.
