Sony PlayStation Vita Specs & Prices

Sony’s popular handheld PSP game system, the PlayStation Vita, is the latest version of Sony’s successful portable PSP gaming platform. Social media connection, PS3 connectivity, online chat, a sharper display, and support for augmented reality and multi-player online gaming are all included in the new gaming console. The Sony PlayStation Vita comes in two configurations: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi Plus 3G.

On February 22, 2012, Sony released the PS Vita in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. In December, gamers in Japan received the PS Vita. In Nigeria, Sony PlayStation Vita Wi-Fi + 3G and Wi-Fi only variants are now available for roughly N41,000 to N70,000.

Brilliant Display with gaming controls

The Sony PlayStation Vita has a 5-inch multitouch OLED display. With a 16:9 960 x 544 pixel resolution and 16 million colors, the display provides a sharp view. The multi-touch touchscreen comes in helpful when controlling the game. The Sony PlayStation Vita also has a multitouch pad on the back for game control.

It contains a six-axis motion sensing system with a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer, which allows for precise angular controls in games like car racing. Dual analog sticks are also available on the Sony PlayStation Vita (one on each side).

Immersive gaming with two cameras

The Sony PlayStation Vita has two cameras: a VGA camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front. Although both cameras can perform their typical functions, most gamers are more likely to combine them with features such as GPS and sensors for augmented reality gaming, which allows players to immerse themselves in the game by integrating the real and virtual worlds.

Multi-Player gaming from anywhere

The Sony PlayStation Vita includes a wireless connection and online gaming capabilities. This allows you to play games with pals from all over the world. You may also use the social media integration to share your gaming progress with friends and communicate with other gamers.

Wireless connections are accessible via Wi-Fi and/or 3G on the Sony PlayStation Vita, albeit 3G is not supported on all models. You can also chat with your buddies through the internet. The PS3 integration on the Sony PlayStation Vita allows you to play compatible titles on both your PS3 and Vita.
