Design
The Surface Go 2 has the same design as the first Surface Go, but with a few improvements. With physical dimensions of 245 mm x 175 mm x 8.3 m, it maintains its lightweight form, resulting in an ultra portable yet sturdy design.
Furthermore, this gadget has thinner display bezels than its predecessor, resulting in an almost entirely screen display.
The Microsoft Surface Go 2 is made of silver magnesium and has a precisely etched reflecting Microsoft logo on the rear.
The 5MP front-facing camera is located on the device’s top bezel, while an 8MP camera is located on the back, resulting in quality video even in low light.
Additionally, these touch screen devices are compatible with both the Surface Pen and Surface Dial, as well as Microsoft’s Type Covers, however the accessories are offered separately.
The Surface Go 2 has one USB Type-C connector, one Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover Port, a MicroSDXC Card Reader, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for communication.
Display
A 10.5-inch PixelSenseTM Display with touch options is featured on the Microsoft Surface 2.
It has a 1920 x 1280 resolution, resulting in a density of 220PPI, providing an unparalleled visual feast with vivid and stunningly vibrant colors.
Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 is used to make the display screen, which helps it resist scratches and falls.
Furthermore, the Microsoft Surface Go 2 boasts a 3.2 aspect ratio, which provides brilliant colors and brightness for a great display for gamers and other users.
The Surface Go 2 screens can handle simultaneous touches from all fingers on both hands thanks to 10-point touch tracking, allowing for a wide range of gestures and multi-touch controls.
Performance
Depending on the model you choose, the Surface Go 2 comes with two CPU options.
The Intel® Pentium® Gold Processor 4425Y in the base model has two cores, four threads, and a base frequency of 1.70 GHz.
In comparison to the Pentium Gold 4415Y in last year’s tablet, this CPU could deliver a significant performance gain.
The higher variant, on the other hand, is equipped with an 8th Gen Intel® Core m3 Processor, which provides up to 64 percent quicker performance than its predecessor.
With an integrated Intel UHD 615 Graphics, the Surface Go 2 two CPU model provides the greatest gaming experience.
Furthermore, the laptop offers up to 8GB RAM, as well as SSD card which can be configured up to 128GB and 64GB eMMC drive.
Above all, the Surface Go 2 has a model with 4G LTE support. This model comes with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X16 LTE modem, thus, allowing for network connectivity away from home.
