DSTV Now

DSTV Now (now simply referred to as the DSTV app) is a Multichoice service that allows you to watch your favorite shows online using a browser on your desktop or laptop, or a mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. It is the successor to DSTV Mobile, which aired certain TV shows to compatible mobile phones using DVB-H technology. You may watch and replay your favorite movies on DSTV Now, as well as catch up on episodes you may have missed.

Unlike DSTV Mobile, which required DVB-H technology and could only be accessed through a few devices, DSTV Now merely requires internet access and a browser or app. This means that the service will work with any device that supports fast 3G, 4G, or 5G internet.

Furthermore, unlike DSTV Mobile or even Showmax, DSTV Now does not require a separate subscription. You can begin using the service without making any further payments once you have enrolled to an eligible subscription plan.

What you need to Access the DSTV App

1. A valid Subscription to any package whether, DSTV Premium, Compact Plus, or Compact.
2. An Internet enabled PC, Mac, Android Phone, iPhone, iPad, or any Smartphone or Tablet

4. A DSTV Connect ID (easy to register, requires your smart card number)
5. An Internet Connection (Broadband connection like Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G)
6. A Data Plan (Preferably an unlimited Data plan)

How to Watch Live TV, Sports, Movies on DSTV Now

1. Visit now.dstv.com on your browser or open the DSTV Now App on your Android or iOS devices. You can download the App at the PlayStore or Apple Store
2. Login with your DSTV Connect ID. You will be required to create a Connect ID the first time you login
3. Search for the TV show you want to watch. You go to the Live TV section to see programmes airing now on DSTV. Catch Up enables you watch episodes of your favorite shows that you may have missed. You can also visit the TV Guide to see upcoming shows and set reminders on shows you may want to watch
4. When you see a TV show you want to watch, click or tap on it to get to the details page where you can either stream or download the show
