I’ve been in Medellin (Colombia) for almost two months and it’s been another eye-opening experience.

It ain’t as good somewhere else in the world as it is here (when it comes to women, prices and several other things).

I travel the world in search of the sweet and lowdown on the local dating scene, driven by the objective of our unique adventure club for remarkable gentlemen (its name is a secret). This has taken me to Malaga (Spain), Bucharest (Romania), Nairobi (Kenya), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Austin (USA), and, most recently, Medellin, Colombia’s perennial springtime metropolis.

In the last few months, I’ve learned a lot… I’ll tell you about the six most fascinating ones.

**Disclaimer: This is just my opinion based on dating over ten women (and being intimate with several of them), as well as chats I’ve had with locals (both men and women) and expatriates who have been here for a long time.** I appreciate all of your input, but there’s no need to remind me that I’m generalizing, that it depends, and that this is simply my personal experience. 1.Colombian women are far more attractive than women from other countries.

They are fascinated with their appearance (this is the world’s number one city for breast and butt implants) and the way they show themselves. I recently spent a month in Austin, Texas – my favorite city in the United States — and met 1 (!) woman with whom I developed a crush. Every time I go on a walk in Medellin, I tend to run into a hot (and attractive) woman.

2. Colombian women asassy ren’t at all.

They’re not just hot, but they’re also stunning… in the way they show themselves, conduct themselves, and engage with you. Grace is the greatest word to describe it. They don’t have the same attitude of entitlement as many Western women (acting as if they deserve romantic success and it’s the man’s responsibility to provide it), and they are always sweet and gentle. Even so,

3. Approaching women during the day is simple and enjoyable if you have the courage to do it.

I no longer frequent nightclubs, but when I did, I saw that the majority of ladies dressed in ‘pareja’ (couple). During the day, however, all of those lovely ladies are out roaming the streets, grabbing lunch, or heading to the mall (they LOVE their malls here). As I previously stated, no woman will ever ignore you if you initiate a discussion with her. When you start talking, she will come to a halt and smile.

4. Money is important… a lot.

Money is a problem in any dating situations, but it’s a little different here. On dates, for example, it goes without saying that you, the man, are responsible for everything. This includes the transportation she will use to meet you. It’s difficult to tell how important your money is to the woman in front of you because of #6. I met several women through internet dating and received the complete spectrum of straight women.

5. Hugging is as prevalent as sex.

When a lady likes you, sex follows naturally. She is not going to keep you waiting. She won’t have any reservations. Sex is simply a pleasurable way for people to interact and discover each other. In many other regions of the world, it is quite playful and has no weight associated to it. This has impacted me the most this time in Colombia.
